Missing some important info

I think if randomers might find this we should have some kind of "what is ForkTogether?" link in an obvious place on the Main Page, but I can't find an obvious place to put it! So I just thought I'd put it out there. Cassolotl (talk) 10:09, 5 July 2018 (UTC)

Agreed! Perhaps just in the intro? It's important enough! --Rjt (talk) 10:29, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
Perhaps "#ForkTogether project" in the top line could link to it? If that's not clear enough, we could put a link at the bottom of the top section reading something along the lines of "learn more about this project" (I don't have time to work on drawing up the actual doc right now, but if anyone else does I'd be happy to look over it/help make revisions) --Satsuma (talk) 04:01, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
ETA: I'd also suggest the URL for the page be "/about" because it's more standard --Satsuma (talk) 04:03, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
I've put a link to an About page in the Navigation menu for the time being. Gotta o to work, but at least there's something to work with :)
Might be handy to grab Maloki's intro to the first meeting to fill in some tecx? --Rjt (talk) 05:43, 6 July 2018 (UTC)

Now that the about page is up, I’m moving this discussion to its talkpage :) --Satsuma (talk) 11:11, 6 July 2018 (UTC)

Mobile view?

the current sidebar thing for official documents gets a bit awkard on mobile bc of the narrow screen. It’s still technically useable but if theres an easy way to fix this, we probably should? --Satsuma (talk) 10:32, 21 July 2018 (UTC)

Oh yeah, that looks very squishy. I've been testing some CSS changes, so will add that to the list (shouldn't be hard to fix). — rjt (talk) 04:56, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
Sounds good, thanks! --Satsuma (talk) 04:08, 23 July 2018 (UTC)
Okay, so got it done. Unfortunately it's a table, so it's a bit annoying to make it responsive. So my solution unfortunately puts 'Officials Documents' below 'Unoficial Refernce Pages', which reads a little oddly. But anyway, try adding this to your custom CSS (click on your username, open preferences, goto the appearance tab, and add it to the custom CSS bit for the theme you're using) to give it a test, and if you're happy we'll send it to Woozle to make it official
